You can related as many Links to an Item as required:
Types of Links:
- Website: enter (copy and paste) the actual website you would like to link to (without 'http://'). This will open the website in a new window.
- Email: select this type of link and enter the Email address and Caption. The user will see the Caption as clickable and it open up an email message for them.
- Cross-reference: this lets you make your website very interactive. Note that every Item you add, has it's own unique link address. To do this:
- Go to the Item you would like to link to and copy the full text in the section Cross-reference link.
- Then go to the Item you would like to link from and click the Add Link button (top right). Add a Caption and paste into the Link section.
Tips
- An alternative to using the method above of locating the cross-reference link: click Item Links (toolbar near the top of your browser). This assists in locating the item's link address. It also means you d not need to move from the Item where you would like to create the link.
- Generally Links are displayed together below an Item on your website.
